The Us World nitro cup was held at Full throttle raceway in Kissimmee FL. Full throttle is newly paved and the track was smooth, fast and high bite. The attendance for the event was great with 120+ drivers from multiple country's. Other than US and south america Italy was well represented with such names as Daniele lelasi, Alberto & Edwardo Picco, Christain Boni, Patrizio Rossi and others.
Team X-ray was at the race with many team drivers such as Loran Whiting, Paul Lemieux, Jamie Corrado, Dan Louis, Tom Esposito, Steve Mcnicols, Melvin Aulston, Anthony Schimizzi, and more. |

The race format called for 5 rounds of qualifying, single fastest run, the qualifiers were 5 min long, top 4 advance directly to final with the other 8 drivers having to race their way in to the finals. The finals format was triple A 20 min mains.
In rhe TC class After qualifying Jamie Corrado put in some good runs to place himself 3rd and secure a finals position, In the Masters 8th class Dan Louis also had good qualifying to secure a finals position in third.

The TC Semifinals were action packed, After not making run time in qualifying Paul Lemieux would run in to problems in his semi final and retire from the event early. Also Loren Whiting and Diatta Collymore had bump spots secure but with problems were also not able to advance to the final, even with all this missed opportunity It was not all bad, as X-ray bumped 6 more drivers in to the final anyways to make it 7 total anyway!!
The TC finals saw some great action and many different finishers up front, DJ and Anthony seemed to be the most consistent in terms of having very few issues threw out the finals. DJ would win the first two with Anthony posting 3,3,2 for his three finishes allowing him to finish a great second overall. Jared Scott had good pace but a few issues would put him behind, in the end he would still come out with a podium in third, rounding out the top five was Steve McNichols and Maxy Valesco both having strong showings in the finals.
